Morningside Festival

The Morningside Festival is Brisbane's Southside's oldest community street fair, featuring a variety of street stalls, 30 plus entertainment events, kids rides and a high profile street parade. In recent years, it has become the keystone event for the local community, bringing local businesses, residents and community organisations together.

As in previous years, the festival will be held on the last Sunday in July, providing a central, accessible location and a bright blue mid winter's day - the perfect combination for a successful street event.

There's HEAPS of activities for the kid's at the Festival. KID's CORNER in the Morningside School of Arts will feature Face Painting, Craft Activities, Colouring-In tables, and the Morningside Festival Colouring-In Competition Display. Other highlights of the Morningside Festival include a wide range of food, drinks, roving fairies, schools, stilt walkers, steel band, extravagant cakes, dog show and much more.
